  • Personal Development Programs

    Personal Development Programs aim to assist young people explore their positive attributes and help them realise their potential.

    Youth Services work with local primary and secondary schools to provide self-development programs for a diverse range of young people.  These programs cover a variety of topics including problem solving, considering consequences, practising communication skills and recognising / managing feelings.

    Feeling Safe - Personal Safety for young women  

    Self Esteem & Assertiveness (SEA) program for young women 14-17 years.

    Social Skills for grade six students.

    START Program for young men in year 8.

    Wellbeing and Resilience Program for primary aged children in grade 5 and 6.

    Working Together Program for secondary school aged young people.

    Counselling Services:

    Counselling for Young People
    FREE general Youth Counselling service for young people between 10 - 25 years.

    Counselling for Young Parents
    FREE Young Parents Counsellor Service, for pregnant and parenting young people under the age of 25 years.

    Youth Mentor & Access Officer
    Need help finding your way through the system? Employment, accommodation, problems at home, drugs, alcohol? Confused about where to go? Do you live work or study in Wyndham & are between 12-25yrs? Then this program might be 4 you.
