Youth Task Force
This project involves the co-ordination of a Youth Task Force which focuses of the needs of Wyndham's Youth and ends with a Youth Forum during Youth Week in April.
The Youth Task Force has taken an exciting new path and is now an opportunity for young people to come together to socialise and share ideas about how Wyndham can be improved as a home for young people.
The Youth Task Force has been established as a means for Council and the community to obtain further insight into the needs of young people in Wyndham, as well as providing young people with an opportunity to take action on issues affecting them.
The Youth Task Force undertakes new projects which address any of a broad range of issues including depression, isolation from the community, sports, arts, drug and alcohol abuse, safety, transport and entertainment.
With some electrifying new projects on the horizon, now is an exciting time to get involved in the Youth Task Force.
Any young people who have an interest in issues affecting them are more than welcome at the Youth Resource Centre for our fortnightly catch ups.
