The Aim of AMILE Advocacy Service Inc. :
'Advocating mental illness and life experience'
To reduce stigma and increase awareness of mental illness through life experience.
To provide more support services for people affected directly or indirectly by mental illness.
To address local, state and federal governments about improving services for those affected by mental illness.
The Intent of AMILE Advocacy Service Inc. :
Discussions with school students about mental illness, fundraising to enable us to provide more support group meetings e.g. evening meetings for specific groups like a carers group, a group for sufferers of anxiety/panic disorders etc
AMILE Advocacy Service inc. is a not for profit health promotion charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductable.
AMILE offers support and information to Families affected by mental illness.
We have 3 support groups weekly and also offer an outreach service
