    Youth Pathways aims to assist young people between the ages of 13-19 who are most ‘at risk’ of not making a successful transition to reach their full potential by keeping participants engaged or re- engaging them into education and further education and training pathways.

    If you’re having trouble staying on track at school, or you (or one of your friends) have already left school and are not quite sure what do with yourself, Youth Pathways might be the right option for you. Youth Pathways can help you get back on track with your education and training.

    We know there are plenty of things that can get in the way of your education. But Youth Pathways can help you work through problems and find real solutions.

    We will talk to you about your situation and help work out what’s getting in your way, or what’s preventing you from getting through school. And we’ll help you to find out your strengths and goals, and set up a plan to get you past the obstacles and back on track.

    To be eligible to participate in Youth Pathways a young person must be an Australian citizen and aged between the ages of 13-19 and either;

    a) be at risk of leaving school before Year 12 and

    b) at risk of not making a successful transition through school from school to further education, training or employment

    OR

    a) have left school in the preceding 12 months without completing Year 12 and

    b) at risk of not making a successful transition through school from school to further education, training or employment.

    Students will receive personalised assistance specifically designed to support their needs and it is anticipated that participants will receive a minimum of seven face to face individual sessions whereby the young person will identify their barriers and complete a Pathways Plan which includes a Transition Plan.
