    Reach Out
Families are an important part of our lives and can be the best source of support and fun. Because they are important to us, difficulties with our family can also cause us lots of pain. Families can often be complex and the impact of changes in the family structure can be hard. In some families this occurs because your parents split up or get divorced, in others there is conflict and fighting in the family, and in some stress results from a family member needing extra support and care because they are sick or disabled. If you are having trouble getting on with your family or they are causing you stress, it is important that you look after yourself and make sure you have some support. Check out the fact sheets below to find more information about family issues, whether they be managing anniversaries, finding a birth parent or just learning to get on with your family better.

Health-related questions are anonymously submitted to the website by young people. These questions are forwarded to relevant health professionals who have volunteered their time to answer questions. Within a week, the questions and answers are reviewed and published on the website. This process has created a database of more than 2,000 questions and answers on the website that other young people can refer to.
